About the Job

Title: Parts Counter Salesperson   
Location: Campbellford 
Reporting to: The Parts Manager 

Summary

As a Parts Counter Salesperson, you’ll be responsible for providing prompt, courteous and knowledgeable service to our customers. You’ll be expected to sell, order, and stock parts for a busy farm, construction, and residential dealership.  

Your success will be tracked by set sales goals.  

Previous parts experience is an asset. Monday to Friday and every third Saturday.

Job Duties

• Manage inventory and collect the correct information needed to sell/order parts and place special orders when required  

• Establish rapport with customers and offer consistently high levels of customer service in-person, over the phone, or by email  

• Cooperate with and support the service and sales teams  

• Provide information regarding parts, including their function, prices, applications, and warranties  

• Assist the general manager in resolving inventory discrepancies between the computer and actual parts on hand, including inventory counts  

• Research online and print catalogues and source from our internal inventory, ordering system, or other means as necessary  

• Maintain a working knowledge of seasonal requirements for parts  

• Stay up to date on recalls and obsolete parts 

• Know and offer seasonal sales specials 

• Organize delivery to customers  

• Occasionally lift items up to 50lbs 

• Drive a forklift (training will be provided) 

• Stay up-to-date on product information by attending manufacturer product knowledge sessions  

• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times  

• Other duties may be assigned as necessary
