The 4290 is a heavy-duty log splitter built to withstand the abuse of a commercial operation. Whether it be a large farm or firewood operation, the 4290 wood splitter is the right fit. With 32 tons of splitting force, the dual splitting action allows gnarly logs to be split down to a manageable size with ease.
The 4290 has several custom weld-on options. These machines rarely leave the Split-fire factory without a hydraulic log lifter or an extended stroke. Not only will these custom log splitter options increase productivity and safety, but they also decrease operator fatigue. The 4290 is often seen splitting large rounds down to boiler wood size or sitting beside a firewood processor splitting rejects. Designed to start on the first pull, built to last years of constant heavy operation.
