Title: Agricultural and Construction Equipment Technician
Location: Lindsay
Reporting to: Ken Buckley, Service Manager
As an equipment technician, you’ll be responsible for inspecting machinery and conducting preventative maintenance and repairs based on a strong working knowledge of farm and construction machinery, including diesel engines, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
A minimum of 5 years of previous experience is required. Monday to Friday and every third Saturday. Overtime may be required.
Minimum 5 years of experience in the heavy or agriculture industry as a technician with experience performing onsite repairs
Red seal accreditation, 421A heavy duty equipment Technician or 425A Agriculture Equipment Technician or Truck and Coach certified
Make recommendations to the service manager based on observed problems and/or practical maintenance requirements
Technicians are expected to work and learn all product lines, and must complete the following training
once hired:
o New Holland training Level 1 to be completed within six months of hire
o Professional training in 3 product groups, with one minimum product group that includes an engine component
o Working towards completion of Master Technician training by the end of the first year of hire
