Description

Whether is pouring rain on a humid summer day or blowing snow on a freezing winter day, split those large unmanageable logs from the comfort of the cab. The Split-fire 4208 is a great fit for any arborist’s yard or large farm that is splitting large rounds that are not easily managed by hand. Typically ordered with extended strokes for flexibility and ease when splitting longer wood for outdoor boiler applications.

The 4208 inverted skid steer log splitter pushes 32 tons at 2900 PSI and is best used on mid-size to larger skidsteers. Positioned in the inverted (upside down) position, the operator remains in the cab and controls the splitting action entirely from the comfort of his/her seat. All fluid and power is taken from the skidsteer and along with UHMW slider makes the 4208 a maintenance free machine. Built to split the largest gnarly rounds, operators are either breaking down oversize logs for an outdoor wood boiler, or for further processing with a smaller and more precise splitter. Don’t dump those large “unmanageable” rounds into the ravine to rot, split them into usable fuel with the Split-fire 4208.
